The creator of Hair & Beauty by Mariama. Mariama is a passionate hairstylist and business owner with a mission to help people feel beautiful, inside and out. From an early age, Mariama has been fascinated by the transformative power of a great hairstyle. After years of honing her craft, Mariama decided to start her own business, where she could share her love of hairstyling, braiding, and beauty products with others. Our Story

Welcome to Hair & Beauty by Mariama! We're passionate hairstylists who love making our clients look and feel their best. We started out as a freelance stylist, but we had bigger dreams. We wanted to create a place where people could come to relax, feel beautiful, and express their individuality with our skills, skincare and beauty products. So, we opened Hair & Beauty by Mariama. People loved the laid-back atmosphere and the wide range of styles and products we offered. We realized that having a website was key to reaching a wider audience and providing more information about our skills and products. We knew that people were increasingly turning to the internet for information about businesses, so we wanted to make sure our salon and products had a strong online presence. We also wanted to provide an easy way for people to book appointments, order products  and learn more about our services.

Who will deliver my parcel?

We use Australia Post (Standard Shipping or Express Shipping) to deliver your online order nationwide.
 
Delivery Times

The following delivery time frames include processing times.
 
Australia Post Parcel Post
5 – 7 business days, up to 10 working days to Western Australia.
 
Australia Post Express Post 
1 – 3 business days, covers 80% of Australian addresses.
 
The Australia Post Express Next Day Network can be found (http://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/delivery-areas.html).
 
If your item is for an address outside the Express Post network, Australia Post will use the fastest possible transport links, but it won’t be covered by their Next Day Guarantee.
 
How to track your parcel with Australia Post:

Once your order is processed, you will be sent a tracking number to track your parcel.

Ways to ensure you don’t miss your delivery:

Our deliveries with Australia Post are delivered with safe drop, meaning your parcel will be left in a secure place around your property if no-one is home. If there is nowhere safe to leave your parcel, please note this in the Delivery Comments box at the final stage of checkout.
 
If you are having your parcel delivered to a work address, please ensure you include your business name and any delivery instructions (eg “Leave at Reception”).
 
Please ensure your mobile number is in the delivery comments or on your customer account, so we can contact you if necessary.
Return and refund policy
Hair & beauty by Mariama have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, you can contact us at roomofladies@gmail.com If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues 
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items 
Certain types of items cannot be returned like, personal care goods (such as beauty products).  Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges 
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds 
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
